another state victory -- or, offer the republican establishment a possible alternative. fox news correspondent doug luzader has the story from washington. on cam intro nevada is not the biggest state of the campaign, but if donald trump wins that state today, that's a lot of momentum to carry into super tuesday. the state of nevada is, as you might suspect, a roll of the dice. caucuses are tough to predict and polling here has been particularly sparse. but, everything we know suggests this is donald trump's state to lose and he tried to manage expectations in front of a large crowd last night in las vegas. trump says "..if you assume we're going to go out and vote, or as they would say in the old school caucus, but forget the word caucus, just go out and vote, okay?" trump's biggest threat now may be coming from marco rubio, who racked up a slew of new endorsements yesterday. rubio says "..donald has a base of

party doesn't want him as our nominee and we will continue to work towards consolidating that." and, rubio may have benefited from an unforced error by ted cruz's campaign. cruz communications director rick tyler tweeted a link to a subtitled video from a pennsylvania college newspaper purporting to show rubio mocking the bible. it was quickly discredited -- and, tyler apologized, but, cruz went a step further. cruz says "..this morning, i asked for rick tyler's resignation." cruz, meantime, hoping his support among evangelicals and staunch conservatives will help him today in what could be a final effort to blunt the rise of donald trump. on cam tag this race in nevada may be decided by a relative handful of voters. turnout today expected to be in the range of ten to fifteen percent. in washington, doug luzader, fox news. still to come rain and snow showers are heading our way.... when they'll hit our area.. coming up in jeff's forecast plus... carrie underwood surprises a family before one of her shows what they had to say coming up next
